Hensoldt NSV1000 XR5
The Hensoldt NSV80, NSV600, and NSV1000 are the only professional night vision attachments available on the market that can now also be used by hunters. They are manufactured to the highest Mil-Spec standards and are in use by many police forces and the German Armed Forces.
The NSV 1000 night vision attachment is a compact residual light intensifier used in conjunction with a daytime optic. Compared to the NSV600, the 1000 is designed as a LR for even longer distances.
The great advantage of this "clip-on" solution is that the usual daytime optic does not have to be removed for use in limited visibility. The shooter does not have to rethink his approach, which is advantageous in stressful situations.
The NSV 1000 is a balanced combination of high performance and moderate weight/dimensions. It is suitable for use on assault rifles, sniper weapons, and hunting weapons. The housing is prepared for a Picatinny rail (MIL-STD 1913). Additional equipment such as an IR illuminator can be mounted on it. An integrated maintenance management system allows the readout of important information about the amplifier tube, such as operating hours, on/off cycles, and installation date.
